The Year Review

Even though this blog hasn't been going for a year, I'm still going to do a review of what's happened from when I started this blog in June. I'll put up a photo for each month:

Bovril

This is a drawing of a family friend's dog called Bovril (Bovvie as a nickname). He's a golden retriever. Jock and Lucy used to play with him every day, so they're best friends.

Wordless Wednesday

Merry Christmas!

Jock, Lucy and Dusty wish all you readers a very merry Christmas today! For us it was lovely this morning, rainy for about an hour and then it was perfect after that! Crazy, yet typical weather. I gave Dusty a really fun run around this morning (I'm just trying to make it sound jolly because it's Christmas). I don't have any photos of Dusty wearing a santa hat or anything so I'll just put this photo up instead. Not sure what it has to do whith Christmas, but it's all I had!

So merry Christmas again to you all, and don't forget to get your doggies something special while the moment is still right!

I was thinking about how much Dusty has changed the past few months. I looked back on some photos of when he was only a few weeks old. Such a different dog!

I have never seen a dog change so much. He looks much older than he is. He's still awesome, though. :)

Another Beach Trip With Dusty

Dusty still doesn't like the water... Whenever we went near the water he was like, 'No way am I going in there.' Actually more like, 'NO WAY AM I GOING IN THERE!!!' And then he put on the brakes.

It is so funny but still, it's only water Dusty!
So then we played a bit of chase the squeaky ball. And not bring back the squeaky ball....

Then he spotted something.

Yep, you guessed it.

 It's a seagull.

No seagulls were harmed in the making of this post.

He was listening for Lucy in the leaves.

Multi Tasking

Jock tries really hard to multi task sometimes. But usually it just isn't possible.

Swirly Butt

Dusty has been changing in more than one spot. His bum has been getting these cute little swirls.

The Mad Bunch

I went to my friends' place this weekend and saw the dogs. There are quite a few...

Rusty the Maltese x Shih-Tzu x Poodle.

 Max the German Shepherd.

 Millie the Kelpie.

 And Fred the Short-Haired Border Collie.

Millie and Fred are both working dogs, so they don't get let out very often. Rusty and Max, however, are inside dogs, so when they get let out, they go crazy.

But then again, all of those dogs are just plain mad!

Rain, Rain, Rain...

It's been raining non-stop for about a week now, so everything's looking extremely green and beautiful. I gave the dogs a wash yesterday because there was finally a break in the rain, but today it's as hot as ever, so lots of swims for poor little Dusty.

Some of Dusty's Tricks!

I've been training Dusty to do some tricks lately, and I've just started teaching him to beg. It's so cute!

He does get a bit excited at times when he really wants the treat, but I'm working on it. :)

Dusty's Trip to the Beach

We went down to the beach today. Dusty has no idea what to do with himself. One moment he would want to run back up the stairs back to the car, the next he would want to go and dig up the entire beach.

Here's what happened... In Dusty's view.

Right, we're here now... What the heck is this that I'm walking on?!?!?!

Please no, please no, PLEASE NOOOOOO!!!!

I insist I will never touch that stuff again...
