Another thing Jock loves to do with the ball is catch it.
 Nice posin' there Jock.

Here we go. Dropping the ball.

You've got a seriously weird expression on your face there, Jockie.

And off he goes! Had enough there Jock? :P

Ball Games

There is one game that both Jock and Lucy both like:
Football.

They could play it for hours.

Just runnin' around deflating footballs.

They just love it!

But the one who loves it the most has to be Lucy:

She just loves that ball!

I'M BACK, DOGGIES!!!

As we drove in through the gates, the dogs emerged from their dens...
Then as we slowed and eventually stopped, the dogs attacked.
With LICKS!!!
When we got out the dogs just went absolutely BONKERS!!! Having not seen them for 14 weeks, I was starting to think they had forgotten us.

I was so happy to see them, I just hugged them for minutes on end (when I could get hold of them) and just cried in happiness.
Hey, don't judge me.
After seeing the dogs, I went to see the other animals and check out how they were doin.

Jock and Lucy

Well to start off my blog I'm just going to say that at the moment I'm on holiday. I am going all around Europe and I'm having such a great time. If you want to read about that, go to this website.
But this blog isn't about my travels. It's all about my dogs and my life. At this current moment in time I have two dogs, Jock and Lucy. Jock is the family dog and Lucy is my brother's.
Jock is a border collie X kelpie:

He is also called Jockie and Jockie poo (don't ask why). He's really clever and picks up things really easily. He can easily clear the goat's fence but only does that to get out. He's so well behaved and guards the house day and night. Luckily for me, I'm a deep sleeper :)
Lucy is a Labrador Retriever:

She is such a sweet dog and very clever, too. So clever she's learnt how to find the chooks' eggs and crack them on the ground. She obviously isn't ever going to get too skinny :P. She can't be bothered to learn tricks and can't jump as high as Jockie, but she makes up for that by being the sweetie pie.
I'll say a little about me, then.
I'm hoping for a dog throughout the next year or so. I really want a Border Terrier because they are just the best dogs I can find. I want one that doesn't shed and one that isn't too big because they are so much easier to travel with and generally cost less to feed and smaller vet bills. I really want a boy, and one that I can train easily. I want a dog that is going to follow me everywhere, but not be protective over me. I pretty much just want a nice dog that fits my family and lifestyle.
So that's a summery of me and my dogs. Hopefully another dog will be on this blog soon!
