We're Back!!!

We got back a couple of days ago. I have never seen Jock's eyes so wide in my entire life! I'm sure he was thinking 'Oh my Dog, you actually came BACK!!!'
And they got even wider when the stick came out. 'Oh my Dog you're back and PLAYING WITH ME!!!!'
I have never seen him want a stick so much. Woah.

And Lucy was the happiest dog in the whole WORLD at that moment.

And Dusty? Well, we went to pick him up and he was a completely different dog. I mean, not literally, but he was so FLUFFY!!! I've never seen him so fluffy in my whole life. It was a bit sad picking him up, though, because the people who had kept him said, 'He feels like my own dog now'. And Dusty didn't want to go at first!
But when we got in the car, he was a bit unsure. But as soon as we turned into the lane, he started yowling and screaming to get out and see Jock and Lucy. I've never heard him that excited before!!
And when we let him out of the car...

He went super crazy! Peeing himself and all!
But that wasn't the only exciting thing that happened.

SARGE'S PRESSIE ARRIVED!!!

There was lots of excitement when the doggies realised that they had a very special pressie all the way from the USA!
Everyone had a HEAP of fun with the toy! It's going to be a special occasion toy, as it's a pretty special toy!

And that's not all. Oh, no, Sarge (being a generous, kind, handsome doggie) put in EXTRAS. Yep, he even put in EXTRAS. See for yourselves. See with your own eyes.

You have no IDEA how excited we all were! I had to prevent myself from tearing into the parcel before Lucy could see it first. And then, I thought I was excited, but then there were the DOGGIES!! And they were just HYPER over it! Fights and all!

Really, this was all over the (super awesomely cool) toys! No joking involved!


Really, I don't want to stop talking about how exciting it was! But really, I thought I should show you how FLUFFY Dusty has gotten! And, I could only get him to pose for the camera using Sarge's pressies! Yep!

See? How fluffy and fuzzy and snuggly and handsome and AWESOME he looks? I love it when he's fluffy!
Ok, he doesn't look that fluffy in that picture, but believe me, he is VERY fluffy!
Does he look fluffier there? Maybe? But seriously, his belly fluff is the best. It's just so fuzzy! Like the pressies from Sarge! (I'm at it again! Can't get over these toys!)

Oh yes, and by the way, that picture is a Sarge's Pressie Pose picture. The first one wasn't. See the amazing excitement in the second one? Yeah? That's the power of Sarge's Pressie right there.


So, I think that I need to give Sarge the most BIGGEST, BESTEST, *MORE 'EST' WORDS THAT I CAN'T THINK OF RIGHT NOW* THANK YOU for the pressies.

Dusty's Pressies

I have gathered a couple of things for Dusty this holiday (whoops nothing for Jock... Lucy is covered by Sarge's pressies. Thanks again, Sarge!)
I've got Dusty a collar and a tag. Just because then he can have it for when he needs to look 'smart' :P

I'm not sure why blogger decided to flip this picture. I can't get it to look normal, so sorry if I'm causing a lot of sideways heads! ;)
The collar/bandana is from France, and I thought it would be cute on Dusty.
I'm pretty sure you can guess where the tag is from. I got it because he's an English breed of doggie and I like the Union Jack pattern.
We also got a little doggie letter rack. It's cute!

Perhaps I should get Jockie a toy or something... I thought about getting him a tag, too, but him being the Master of Losing Tags and all.... I didn't think it was such a smart idea....
But then again, he loses toys, too.
I'm just going to add in to this post a couple of doggie drawings I've done on holiday. Just to give you an idea of my style of drawing for my competition!

The Word of Dusty: EXCITERIEDED!!!

Herlo all you doggons from all over the world that are readin this writing that I have written! 

Tis Dustaroonodawg here, callin in from my 'home away from home'! (it makes no sense to me, but thats what the peeps calls it!) And I has some verry good newz fur you! It's absolutely pawsome! What iz it? Welz, it is that I is still completerly and utterly alive! Yeah! See?? Isn't it just the best news anyone could recieve???

Another good thing is... I is seein my peeps so very very very soon!!! I is so happerieded!!! Yeah!!! Look at my exciterieded and happy self!!!

My earsies are so excited that they are pointy!!!

This place I is stayin at is grrreat. It isn't like the scary old cage that my auntie Lusie Boosie told me bout (she said that she was only put there a couple of times). It is so nice!

It's like a home! But away from home! That makes no sense but I dont care coz I'm seein my auntie Lusie Boosie, auntie Toffie, my (grumpy schmumpy) uncle Jocky Poo, uncle Zimmie, uncle Lucca (he never wants to play though....) and all of my peeps so very very soon!!! It's gonna be so so so so sooooo EXCITEN!!!

I is feelin the exciterment already!

I've been checkin up on all the bloggies too. I've been readin the same posts as my peep, so don't think I've been missin anything! On normal times my peep gives me the heads up on whats goin on, asks me wether I wanna enter sumthing, so on, wateva, but I've been Mista Indapendent! I've been doin stuff all by my hansum self!

An Update on Dusty

 If you havn't already read it, please take a look at my competition post here.

We got an email from the people who are keeping Dusty while we are away (Jock and Lucy stayed home to have a break) and they said he was fine! They also mentioned he was a 'right character'. I'm hoping that means that he's enjoying himself! :P
They also sent some pictures of him with the dogs he's staying with. They said he's loving a certain dog called Ava (who looks like a maltese cross). And by the looks of things, Dusty's got a girlfriend!

Looks like he's having a ball! I'm sure he'll be sad when Ava leaves because they said that they love to run around the house together chasing each other.

Anyway, it was really reassuring to see Dusty is getting along fine with the other dogs there. I hope he doesn't get too attached to the place!

Dusty's Celebration Competition

To celebrate Dusty's 1st birthday, on the 27th July, I have decided to do a competition! To enter, do a blog post with your favourite picture of your doggie (or whatever else) included. The competition is based on this picture as the winner will recieve an original hand drawn picture of your entry! It will either be in graphite or pastel, whatever the winner chooses. Entries must be in by the 27th June as I will post a page with all the entries for people to vote for their favourite. Of course, I will put in my own vote for this competition if there is a tie. All votes must be in by the 25th July (we can stretch the rules a bit for time zone convenience) and will be counted by the 27th July (Dusty's birthday) and the winner will be announced on that date!

Here are the rules:

You can enter as many or as little times as you like! Just make sure you comment on the page 'Dusty's Celebration Competition' with a link to your post for each entry you do.

Sarge's Nickname Game

I found Sarge's blog the other day, and discovered that he'd just started a game! The Word of Dusty: Freedom

Hello, how is all my doggie friends feelin on today? I just thort I would take a sniffie at bloggie land here!
I like to apologise before my talks start about me grammer. I working on it and it's gooder already! Made sure I had it alot gooder before writing this. ;)
Anyway I was had a normal time a few days before now and then something more than good happened.  It was supa gooder than my normal good things. Way gooder. So much more gooder that I was so much more happied.  :)
Ok you probably want to no what was so good that it was gooder than all other things? So here it is in a berry shell: I have a verried good space to run like a wild puppy. Because I am a wild puppy! :D
You no that wirey stuff that was dragged along the white posts? Well that's been dragged into a biiiiiig squarey shapey thingy and now... I CAN'T ESCAPE!!! :D You are probably also wants to no why I is happy about this? Yes? No? I'm just guessin you said yes, because I'm gonna tell ya! Now I can be let run freeeeeeely during the light time of daytime. Yippeeeeeeee!!! :D Soooooo no one has to waching me! Eva! But sometimes if a car wants to see mee i get tieded up on me wire that is mine all mine so I cant get squishied under the big black rolly thingimabobbies that are really really scary but really really fun to bark at toooo. 
Anywayz I has alsoo got a widdle pooly wooly to paddle waddle in if i is wanting too. I think it's rilly good if its reeaaally hot in the air around 30 dogreeees or more and then I can just walk in and there it is, I'm cooler again!!! Even more cold if I splash lots and lots so that I get my bellies all wet and nice. :)

 But gettin in is always the bestest part of it :P

 And I play ballie loads too. Thats how I got used to gettin in and out by meself. I just ran after the ballie wallie! I still splashie lots too as I get the ballie wallie.

So pretty much I'm a free doggie in a free garden with free rules and am allowedied to run arounded as I please!
